Hey all,

Sorry for the lack of posting, net access (or a lack thereof), time constraints and a brief trip to newquay have caused problems ( a quick shout out to paul and jo, our new (quay) spinning friends!)

anyway, hastingsspin number 30-someythings will be on this sunday ( like, tomorrow) in alexandra park, hastings. about 3 ish.

We're also planning a large spin and maybe fire performance on the seafront very soon. so stay tuned.

Sonic Stars

Sonicpoi.com is a new site that features chat, shopping and lessons in all things poi related,

to be honest the lessons seem to be based at beginners, and it doesn't seem to have an enormous community, but it'll only improve with age, so give it a shot!

As for the shop, they've a good size catalog, and it seems reasonably priced. I can't vouch for the quality, as I've never bought from there myself, so if anyone has, let me know what you thought

They call it there definitive list of wraps, and it does seem quite conclusive, and its definately worth checking out

I myself prefer to learn by example, as a list of instructions for spinning just makes me all befuddled

This Years Meets

Hi All,

This year we will be meeting on the 1st and 3rd sunday of every month. Hastings, Alexandra Park. We'll have the usual Poi and staff spinners, plus jugglers, unicyclists, whatever.

Anyone's welcome, and people can come down just to watch if they'd like, there's no pressure to try anything, but we are all on hand if anyone would like to.

August 6th
August 20th
September 3rd *September dates onwards subject to change*
September 17th
